Last night Ricahrd and I went over to Jory and Lacy's house for dinner and it was so cold outside and windy that I decided to take the day off today.  Of course Wesley wanted to come home with us and spend the night.  I swear that kid sleeps sideways in a bed.  I'll bet I have 20 bruises on my back from him kicking me all night long.  But... he's worth it.  Darby had to work for a half a day and her kids were out of school due to the cold so she brought them over and they played with Wesley until around 1:00.  Now its me that needs a nap.

I really enjoy taking a day now and then and just doing nothing but the things that  I want to do and sometimes thats absolutely nothing, like today. 

Love my grandkids, kids and life!  Today was a good day.

Happy Birthday to Me

Today so far has been a good day.  I have enjoyed many calls from family and friends.  Mostly family though.  Tiffany and three of the kids came by, and Darby and her kids are supose to be here later today to play the Wii.  I think they want to laugh at me while we dance.  Jory, Travis and Mom all called me. 

Richard went snowmobiling with Kirby and his boys.  Thats okay... better than him sitting around the house crying that he didn't get to go. 

Beautiful day for January.  I sure hope the sun keeps melting the snow.

Wow, starting a blog is a little strange for an old dog like me.   Most everyone has one these days, so Im just trying to come on board with the rest of the world.  I hope I don't mis-spell to many words!
